Studio Report 2/12/25
It was vvv cold (-2F) last night so it took awhile for the studio to warm up this morning and I worked in the house for a bit to beat the cold. Honestly standing up and moving around and drawing or painting out there in the cold is quite fine but my feet tend to get kind of frosty from the cold concrete. In my middle age that seems to give them some kind of rather uncomfortable chill blaines kinda thing for a few days after. It’s not that fun.
Anyway, I channeled my inner Harold and busted out the purple crayon:
The views are aspirational.
I got into a little mixed media action making who knows what. It’s an ungrounded combo of paint sticks, posca pens, water colors, and graffiti markers:
Life is hard and sometimes it hurts, what can I say?
Finally, I got a little inspiration thinking about our dear leader. I guess he’s good for something?
I kinda dig this poster and I think I might rework it some more. It feels kind of prescient…
That’s all for today. Stay warm if you’re in Bend and let yourself make some art,
Wolf
